HDPE geomembrane, geotextile, GCL, drainage and waterproofing for mining, landfill, road and water projects — with the test reports your engineer asks for.
Every line below is a product we quote on and ship, not a catalogue entry. Width, roll length, thickness and grammage are agreed per order against the contract.
Photographed in stock, at loading and on site. Roll width, roll length and packing are agreed per order.
A liner is not chosen by thickness alone. It is chosen by what it has to hold back. These are the situations we supply for — the problem first, then the material that answers it.
The problem: Leachate carries a high organic load, ammonia and heavy metals. A single leak contaminates groundwater for decades, and the clean-up cost dwarfs the cost of the liner.
What we supply: Smooth HDPE 1.5 mm (2.0 mm where the waste heap is tall), GCL, drainage geonet
Typical thickness: 1.5–2.0 mm
The problem: Tailings water carries heavy metals, acid or alkali, and flotation reagents. It attacks the material in ways ordinary water does not.
What we supply: Textured or column-point HDPE, GCL as a secondary barrier, drainage geonet
Typical thickness: 1.5–2.5 mm
The problem: Animal slurry is high in organic matter and ammonia, and the pond is covered — so the liner is the only barrier between the slurry and the groundwater underneath.
What we supply: Black HDPE for both the base and the gas cover, short-staple geotextile for protection
Typical thickness: 1.0–1.5 mm
The problem: Industrial and municipal effluent combines organic load with acid, alkali and solvents. Long exposure accelerates ageing and stress cracking.
What we supply: Smooth HDPE or composite geomembrane, geotextile protection layer
Typical thickness: 1.5–2.0 mm
The problem: A permeable basin loses water continuously. In dry regions the cost of refilling is the cost of the project.
What we supply: Composite geomembrane (two fabric / one membrane), smooth HDPE
Typical thickness: 0.75–1.5 mm
The problem: Water level has to stay stable, and the liner has to coexist with planting and aquatic life rather than sterilise the bed.
What we supply: GCL, composite geomembrane, short-staple geotextile
Typical thickness: by design
The problem: Hydrocarbons seep into soil and groundwater and stay there. Remediation is slow, expensive and closely regulated.
What we supply: Double HDPE liner with a detection layer between, long-staple geotextile
Typical thickness: 1.5–2.5 mm
The problem: Moving water scours the toe, the slope face fails, and the failure propagates upstream.
What we supply: Cement blanket, eco-bag, woven or nonwoven geotextile as a filter layer
Typical thickness: by design
The problem: Seepage wastes water and lets pathogens cross between ponds. The liner also has to survive cleaning and desilting.
What we supply: HDPE aquaculture liner, short-staple geotextile
Typical thickness: 0.5–1.0 mm
Our landfill liner is made to CJ/T 234-2006, which is equivalent to US GRI-GM13 — so the specification maps onto the ASTM language already in your design.
| Property (HDPE, 1.5 mm) | Value | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| Tensile yield | ≥22 N/mm | Resists installation damage |
| Tensile break | ≥40 N/mm | Survives differential settlement |
| Elongation at break | ≥700% | Stretches over uneven subgrade |
| Tear resistance | ≥190 N | Tears do not run |
| Puncture resistance | ≥480 N | Stones and rubble do not perforate |
| Carbon black | 2.0–3.0% | UV protection in exposed service |
| OIT | ≥100 min | Oxidation life in the ground |
A test report is only worth reading if it names the standard edition it was tested against. Several of these changed recently — check the year in the report, not just the number.
